Crunchyroll recently shared a behind the scenes video showing how the Dr. STONE NEW WORLD anime was made, and now it’s time to dive even deeper. The latest video continues the journey of discovery at TMS and Asahi Production, this time focusing specifically on the art of special effects.

Dr. STONE NEW WORLD premiered on April 20 and is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, with new episodes premiering every week. Here’s the official series synopsis:

 

Several thousand years after a mysterious phenomenon that turns all of humanity to stone, the extraordinarily intelligent, science-driven boy, Senku Ishigami, awakens.

 

Facing a world of stone and the total collapse of civilization, Senku makes up his mind to use science to rebuild the world. Starting with his super strong childhood friend Taiju Oki, who awakened at the same time, they will begin to rebuild civilization from nothing…
