The English dubbed version of Black Butler -Public School Arc- has just begun to stream on Crunchyroll. J. Michael Tatum and Brina Palencia are reprising their roles as Sebastian Michaelis and Ciel Phantomhive, respectively. (Coincidentally, the same two actors are also reprising their roles in the new Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf anime.) Crunchyroll also gave more information on the crew and other members of the cast.

According to Crunchyroll, Reagan Murdock plays Redmond, Brandon McInnis plays Bluewer, Jonah Scott plays Greenhill, Kieran Flitton plays Violet, Ciarán Strange plays McMillan, Christian Taylor plays Clayton, Branden Loera plays Cheslock and Andrew Webb plays Agares.

Looking toward the crew, veteran director and voice actress Caitlin Glass is working as the voice director. The production is being done by Samantha Herek, while James Cheek is in charge of the adaptation. The mixer for the anime dun is Neal Malley. Jamal Roberson is working as the engineer.

Black Butler -Public School Arc- was originally made at CloverWorks, with Kenjiro Okada — known for being the chief director of March comes in like a lion — helming the project as director. Hiroyuki Yoshino took care of series composition. Credit for character design goes to Yumi Shimizu. The anime’s music was composed by Ryo Kawasaki.

Crunchyroll gave this description for the anime’s plot:

Ciel Phantomhive is the most powerful boy in all of England, but he bears the scars of unspeakable suffering. Forced to watch as his beloved parents were brutally murdered, Ciel was subsequently abducted and violently tortured. Desperate to end his suffering, the boy traded his own soul for a chance at vengeance, casting his lot with the one person on whom he could depend: Sebastian, a demon Butler summoned from the very pits of hell. Together, they’ll prowl the darkest alleys of London on a mission to snuff out those who would do evil.
