Dead Mount Death Play TV Anime Unveils Haunting New Visual, Cast
The official website and accounts for the upcoming Dead Mount Death Play anime today unveiled a brand-new key visual, while also announcing nine additional cast members and theme song info for the supernatural action series.

- Tsubaki Iwanome voiced by Takuya Eguchi (Loid in SPY x FAMILY)
- Gozaburo Arase voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto (Bakugo in My Hero Academia)
- Lisa Kuraki voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki (Chise in The Ancient Magus’ Bride)
- Xiaoyu Lei voiced by Misato Fukuen (Saki in In/Spectre)
- Rozan Shinoyama voiced by Kazuhiro Yamaji (Kenny in Attack on Titan)
- Sayo Shinoyama voiced by Yo Taichi (Akane in Chainsaw Man)
- Izuna Ajishiro voiced by Rumi Okubo (Tania in Beast Tamer)
- Koruto Ichinose voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa (Kita in BOCCHI THE ROCK!)
- Saki Aikawa voiced by Haruka Shiraishi (Asirpa in Golden Kamuy)
Sou (ID: INVADED) will perform “Nero” for the anime’s opening theme song, while Inori Minase (Somali and the Forest Spirit) will perform “Iolite” for the ending theme.

Based on the manga by Ryogo Narita and Shinta Fujimoto, Dead Mount Death Play is being directed by Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization), who also serves as series composer, at studio GEEKTOYS, with character designs by Hisashi Abe (Berserk) and music by F.M.F.
Crunchyroll, which will stream the anime from April 2023, describes the series as such:
It’s a showdown for the ages as the legendary hero takes on the corpse god necromancer, but when the dust settles, something isn’t quite right… In the final moments of their epic confrontation, the corpse god’s final gambit shot was wholly unexpected — reincarnation magic! Across space and time, a boy named Polka Shinoyama awakens feeling…not quite himself…… Who could’ve expected that the climactic battle between good and evil would turn out like this??
