YOASOBI Composer Ayase Shares Winter 2023 TV Anime Buddy Daddies Opening Theme MV
Japanese music producer Ayase, best known as the composer of his two-member unit YOASOBI, has released a music video for his latest song “SHOCK!,” which is now used as the opening theme for the winter 2023 TV anime Buddy Daddies. While YOASOBI previously provided theme songs for BEASTERS and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, this is his first time as a solo performer to sing an anime theme song.

As his third digital single, “SHOCK!” was released on January 6, 2023. The animated music video for the song was directed by creative unit Margt, which consists of Arata (graphics) and Isamu (videos). They are active in various fields such as music and fashion with a focus on videos and graphics. The video depicts an escape drama of a death and an angel.
