Bunny Girl Senpai Anime Trains Hard With Mai VA Taking on Role of Conductor in Railway Collab

 

The promotion train for the upcoming Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out theatrical anime is going full steam ahead this week with the voice actor for Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai’s Mai Sakurajima traveling down to Kanagawa yesterday for a railway collaboration with Odakyu Electric Railway.

 

 

As reported on Comic Natalie, on June 4 Mai Sakurajima’s voice actor Asami Seto became the Station Master at Katase-Enoshima Station in Fujisawa and conducted the trains coming into the station and did announcements. Seto as Mai will have her voice heard at the station as well as Fujisawa Station doing the announcements until July 2 alongside a collaboration poster that will be posted in stations up and down the Odakyu Line.

 

 

 

The station collaboration came about due to the proximity of the station to Shonan, an area that features many locations in the Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai series. Seto said during the opening of the event that she “often comes to Enoshima by motorcycle or car, but this is the first time I’ve come to Katase-Enoshima Station since it was renovated, so I’m very happy to be here.”

Labeled the “Senior High School Student Completion Compilation,” the theatrical animation adapts the novels Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid. The new feature is directed by Soichi Masui and features animation production by CloverWorks and is set to open on June 23 in Japan. 

 

Crunchyroll currently streams the Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny GIrl Senpai TV anime, and describes the story as follows:

 

Puberty syndrome – Abnormal experiences rumored on the internet to be caused by sensitivity and instability during adolescence. This year, Sakuta Azusagawa, a second-year student at a high school near Enoshima, meets several girls that are experiencing this “puberty syndrome.” For instance, he meets a wild bunny girl in the library. She turns out to be an actress on hiatus, Mai Sakurajima, who is also his senior at the school. For some reason, no one else can see this enchanting girl. How did she become invisible…?
