The band was formed in 2005, then made their major debut from EPIC Records Japan in June 2009. Among manga/anime fans, they are known for their theme song works for Naruto Shippuden (2009), Haikyu!! To The Top (2020), and the Tokyo Revengers live-action film (2021). Their 16th CD single “Hitamuki” is set to be released on November 30, 2022.

The music video features the band’s performance on a set with colorful lasers, lights, and pink objects that express the worldview of the song. The lasers are based on the seven colors of red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, and white, with plenty of neutral colors used as gradations. SUPER BEAVER has never used laser effects in their music videos, and this is their first attempt using lasers.
