Atlus Confirms No Major Game Announcements For Persona WISH 2022 Super Live Event

Atlus has taken to its official channels in Japan to confirm that the forthcoming Persona Super Live fan and concert event in WISH 2022 being held on October 8 and 9 in Chiba’s Makuhari Messe convention hall will not feature major announcements releated to the video game franchise, breaking with previous event tradition. The event’s production will instead be entirely focused on merchandise sales and the slate of musical performances planned for both days.

Persona Super Live events have been historically used to announce major developments in the franchise, such as new mainline games or spin-offs. Atlus has decided to focus on the concert production for WISH 2022 to make it the best live concert event for fans, rather than combine the concerts and performances with franchise updates.

Atlus previously announced a slate of Persona ports and re-releases earlier this year through announcements for Nintendo’s Direct Mini Partner ShowcasePlayStation/STEAM, and XBOX-Bethesda Showcase 2022 this past June to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary.
