World Trigger Stage Play to Return in August 2023 with Its 3rd Show “B-Rank Wars Begin Arc”
Following the well-received first show in 2021 and the second show in 2022, the third show of the stage play adaptation of Daisuke Ashihara’s sci-fi action manga World Trigger, entitled World Trigger the Stage: B-Rank Wars Begin Arc, is set to be performed in Tokyo and Osaka in August 2023.
The first show, World Trigger the Stage, was performed in Tokyo and Osaka from November to December 2021. Then the second show, World Trigger the Stage: Large-Scale Invasion Arc, was performed in Tokyo and Osaka in August 2022.
The first two shows’ writer-director Norihito Nakayashiki (Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyu!!) will return in the same positions. He says, “Finally, the B-rank War begins! ‘World Trigger the Stage’ is entering a new stage! The fierce battle between Tamakoma No. 2 led by Osamu Mikumo and the unique B-class members! The battle between the unique B-class members and Tamakoma Second led by Osamu Mikumo! The way these members face themselves and grow in the midst of battle is soul-stirring! The highlight of the show is the collaboration between the actors’ passionate performance and the light and images! Please look forward to it!”
At least the two main cast members – Keisuke Ueda as the protagonist Yuuma Kuga and Takuya Mizoguchi as Osamu Mikumo – are confirmed to return in the third show.
