Mamoru Miyano Releases New Lyric Video “Ikou!” featuring Illustrations by Ukiyoe Painter Anna Tsubaki
Following the album title tune, the official YouTube channel for voice actor Mamoru Miyano (Light Yagami in Death Note, Setsuna F. Seiei in Mobile Suit Gundam 00) has released a lyric video for “Ikou!” (Let’s Go!), another new song from his latest seventh full-length album “THE ENTERTANMENT.”

The song was written by Yukinojo Mori and composed by Tsukasa Okazaki. It has a Japanese popular song-taste different from his previous songs. The illustrations in the lyric video were drawn by ukiyoe painter/manga artist Anna Tsubaki. Her unique and delicate touch creates a dependable character and tasteful backgrounds.

As his first album in five years and three months since his previous sixth album “THE LOVE” in August 2017, “THE ENTERTAINMENT” was released on November 2, 2022, then ranked sixth in Oricon’s weekly album charts. In addition to his recent six single songs (from 17th single “Encore” to 22nd single “Dream on”), the album also includes four newly-recorded songs- “THE ENTERTAINMENT,” “Butterfly,” “Ikou!,” and “TEAM.”
