Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King officially releases in Japanese theaters and on Netflix worldwide on June 16, and the franchise’s first anime film has one last character trailer to reveal before we’re all spellbound by the great battle between Asta and a twisted former Wizard King. The Black Clover TV anime ran for 170 episodes from October 3, 2017, to March 30, 2021, with Crunchyroll streaming the series as it aired. The Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film will be streaming on Netflix worldwide on June 16, the same day as its Japanese theatrical release. Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
