Undead Unluck TV Anime Rolls the Dice with Fire Force Staff in First Trailer
The Undead Unluck segment on Jump Festa 2023’s NEO stage brought out the big guns today, revealing more cast, staff and the first trailer to a crowd of fans gathered before main cast members Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo in JUJUTSU KAISEN) and Moe Khara (Akari in The Executioner and Her Way of Life).

- Shen voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)
- Void voiced by Kenji Nomura (Ushiyama in Golden Kamuy)

Based on the manga by Yoshifumi Tozuka, Undead Unluck is being directed by Yuki Yase at studio David Production, with character designs by Hideyuki Morioka and music by Kenichiro Suehiro; all three worked on Fire Force‘s first anime season in the same roles.
Viz Media, who publishes the manga’s official English version, describes the series as such:
All Fuuko wants is a passionate romance like the one in her favorite shojo manga. Unfortunately, her Unluck ability makes that impossible. But just as Fuuko hits rock bottom, Andy sweeps her off her feet—literally! Now she’s become Andy’s unwilling test subject as he works to find a way to trigger a stroke of Unluck big enough to kill him for good. However, when the pair discovers a secret organization is hunting them, it puts Andy’s burial plans on hold.
The anime adaptation is scheduled to begin airing sometime in 2023.
