In a fitting Valentine’s Day treat, the TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You anime series announced today that the second season of the TV anime will begin its broadcast in April 2023. To celebrate the news, a brand new key visual has been released with the lovebirds hand in hand alongside details of the opening and ending theme songs.

The opening theme song to the second season of TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You will be “Setsuna no Chikai” composed by “Kawaii Future Rock” unit Neko Hacker, with the ending theme being “Yoru no Katasumi.” Both songs will be sung by Akari Kito performed in character as Tsukasa Yuzaki and will be released on digital platforms on April 7.

TONIKAWA’s latest anime release, TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You ~Uniform~ Special Episode released in Japan and Crunchyroll on November 22. Season two of the TV anime will stream on Crunchyroll as it is released in Japan within North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. The staff and cast from the first season return for the second season.

 

Both the TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You TV anime series, which was broadcast in Japan from October to December 2020, and OVA adapt the manga of the same name by Kenjiro Hata and can be streamed on Crunchyroll. The series is described as such:

 

Nasa Yuzaki falls in love at first sight after an encounter with the mysterious Tsukasa. When Nasa earnestly confesses his feelings, she replies, “I’ll date you, but only if we’re married.” Nasa and Tsukasa’s cute and precious newlywed life of love is about to begin!
