The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses Reveals ED Theme Song Performers
In the world of romance, sometimes you have to take a good hard look just to see what’s right in front of you, and now the ending theme song performers have been revealed for The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, an upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy manga.
The ending theme song, entitled “Megane-Go-Round” (“Glasses-Go-Round”), is performed by a special voice unit entitled Masayoshi ga Megane wo Wasureta (“Masayoshi Forgot His Glasses”), which is made up of Masayoshi Ōishi, Kaede Komura (CV: Masahiro Ito), and Ai Mie (CV: Shion Wakayama). Masayoshi Ōishi also provides the lyrics, composition, and arrangement for the song.

Known in Japan as Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta, the original manga by Koume Fujichika is published in Japan by Square Enix in their Monthly Gangan Joker magazine. An English language version is also available from Square Enix Manga, who describe the story as follows:
A delightfully charming romantic comedy about a boy who only has eyes for the girl who always forgets her glasses!
The distance between a boy and his crush shrinks every time she forgets her glasses!
Komura starts his school year with a new seat neighbor in homeroom—the bespectacled Mie. Before long, he’s nursing a raging crush on his quirky classmate who’s always forgetting her glasses! While this might be ideal for Komura to get to know Mie better, will his poor heart give out from the daily strain of being up close and personal with the girl he likes?!
The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses TV anime is directed by Susumu Kudo and Katsumasa Yokomine and features animation production by GoHands. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX, Mainichi Broadcasting System, and BS Asahi beginning in July of 2023.
