A special stage event was held for The Duke of Death and His Maid anime at this weekend’s AnimeJapan 2023 event, bringing with it news of additional cast members and theme song performers for the upcoming second season. The opening theme will have voice cast members Natsuki Hanae and Ayumi Mano performing “Kimi to Revue” as their respective characters, and the ending theme will have Nasuo performing “Hoshikuzu Requiem.”

Based on the manga by Inoue, The Duke of Death and His Maid is directed by Yoshinobu Yamakawa (Hi Score Girl) at studio J.C.STAFF and stars Natsuki Hanae (Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas) and Ayumi Mano (Natsumi in Date A Live) as the titular pair.
