Masayuki Suzuki Returns to Sing Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends- Opening Theme
It is officially announced today that Japanese singer Masayuki Suzuki sings “Love is Show,” the opening theme song for Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends-, which will be set to open theatrically in Japan on December 17.

This will be the fourth consecutive time that Suzuki sings the opening song for the Kaguya-sama anime franchise, and his new duet partner is Reni Takagi, a member of Japanese idol group Momoiro Clover Z. Also for the fourth time, lyrics and music are provided by Yoshiki Mizuno (Ikimonogakari), Akimitsu Honma serves as sound producer.

I am Masayuki Suzuki, the “eternal” big newcomer in the anisong world. “Let’s try various things more!” This was the goal I set for myself when I reached the age of 60, and the offer from the Kaguya-sama team was a challenge I could not have wished for. I am grateful for the opportunity to sing the theme songs, including this special screening edition, and I am reminded of the importance of having a goal in mind, along with gratitude. My duet partner for the latest work is Reni Takagi of Momokuro, with whom I have performed several times on TV music programs. I am very happy to be able to perform with her for the first time on “Love is Show,” a new song for both of us. Performing with such unique and wonderful successive partners is a blissful moment for me as a vocalist. With each work, I have grown closer to Kaguya-sama fans, and now I feel as if I am one of them. I hope you fully enjoy this special screening edition’s story and theme song as much as I do.
