Sarasa Kadowaki’s BIRDIE WING -Golf Girls’ Story- Season 2 Ending Theme MV Now Streamed

 

 

Today on April 5 in Japan, singer-songwriter Sarasa Kadowaki released her new digital single song “Kimi ga Irukara” (Because you are here), which will be featured as the ending theme for the forthcoming second season of the TV anime BIRDIE WING -Golf Girls’ Story-. The song’s full music video is now streamed on her official YouTube channel.

Kadowaki started playing guitar at the age of 10, wrote her first song around the eighth grade, then began performing live in the summer of her freshman year of high school. She made her major debut from Victor Entertainment in March 2021 with her first digital single “Torihada.”

 

The lyrics and music of “Kimi ga Irukara” were written by Kadowaki herself, who was inspired by the relationship between the two main characters after reading the anime’s scenario, and sound producer youthK Saeki, with whom she has worked since before her debut, worked on arrangement.

I was filled with happiness when I heard that my song was chosen as the ending theme! Eve and Aoi are mentally strong persons, and because they are so similar, they sometimes clash with each other, but I think they are the best rivals who can compete with each other in a friendly way. I wanted to express their relationship through “harmony,” which becomes the best sound when they are united as one! I created this song while recalling my school days when we had silly fights and laughed at each other (laughs), so I hope that it will help you to recall your own memories of your loved ones! And when it’s hard to express gratitude, I would be happy if “Kimi ga Irukara” could be a substitute for a letter. I hope you enjoy it along with Season 2!

 

 

 

 

 

Following the well-received first season in the spring 2022, the highly-anticipated second season of the TV anime BIRDIE WING -Golf Girls’ Story- is set to premiere in Japan on April 7, 2023, and will also be simulcast on Crunchyroll for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS
