Real Dungeon Attraction Sword Art Online – Anomaly Quest Begins Accepting Reservations

 

 

On April 4, Sony Music Solutions and Sony Music Entertainment began accepting reservations for “Sword Art Online – Anomaly Quest” at THE TOKYO MATRIX, a new dungeon experience facility in Shinjuku that will open on April 14, 2023.

THE TOKYO MATRIX is a mission-driven attraction to open on the fourth floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Users cooperate with their friends to defeat monsters, find items, and escape traps in order to clear dungeons. The normal playing fee per person is approximately 2,000 yen (15.55 USD) to 2,450 yen (19.05 USD).

 

The story of “Sword Art Online – Anomaly Quest” is described as: “A new QUEST (mission) in the full-dive VR MMORPG ‘ALfheim Online’ is to defeat Kirito and Asuna. Players form a party to defeat the two and head to the deepest part of the dungeon under the guidance of Yui.” A long version trailer featuring the familiar SAO characters is now streamed!

The attraction’s theme song “Weaker” is sung by ReoNa, the singing voice of Elza Kanzaki in the TV anime Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online in 2018. She has also performed the theme songs for Sword Art Online Alicization, Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris, Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld, Sword Art Online: Last Recollection, and the Sword Art Online novel’s 10th anniversary project. The song was included in her second album “HUMAN” released on March 8, 2023.
