Resident Evil 4: Remake Gets World Masterpiece Theater Anime Ad
For those of a certain age, the World Masterpiece Theater anime franchise conjures up memories of series like Anne Of Green Gables and Story of the Alps: My Annette, but Capcom has decided to tie up with Nippon Animation to create a one of a kind tribute to both Resident Evil 4 and the storybook animation franchise, with hilarious results.

In the ad, Leon is searching for Ashley Graham in what’s supposed to be the mysterious and unnamed Spanish village from the game, only to be placed in a setting that’s identical to Story of the Alps: My Annette while random Ganado lunge at him for daring to ask if they’ve seen Ashley anywhere, which leads to a hilarious ending, especially for those that have played the game before. Resident Evil 4: Remake will be released on March 24 across Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC via Steam.
