Pokémon Devs Bring Their Horse Racing Solitaire Game to Apple Arcade

Pocket Card Jockey

It’s been a decade since Pokémon developer Game Freak’s mashup of horse racing and solitaire, Pocket Card Jockey, made its debut on Nintendo 3DS in Japan, and now it’s finally set to return in an updated form. Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On will offer up some fresh 3D racing visuals when it gallops on over to Apple Arcade on January 20.

iOS and Android versions previously launched in Japan but have since shut down. The 3DS version of Pocket Card Jockey arrived in the west in 2016, and you can see a sample of how that one looked in Nintendo’s trailer below.

Other titles on the way to the subscription-based service this month include Episode XOXO (January 6), Illustrated (January 13) and Squiggle Drop (January 27).
