Oshiri Tantei Anime Returns in April 2023, Debuts Booty-ful Key Visual
He’s every kid’s favorite super sleuth… and his head is a butt. Author Troll‘s smash-hit series Oshiri Tantei (Butt Detective) is getting another season of anime early next year, and today is the perfect day for the announcement.
November 4 (11/04) has been declared the character’s birthday, as it can be read “ii oshi” (“nice butt”). Oshiri Tantei, his dad Oshiri Dandy and his assistant Brown all feature in the new key visual, seen above. The upcoming season will debut in April 2023 and consist of 15 episodes telling newly-written stories. Be on the lookout for a new phantom thief character, too.

As mentioned before, November 4 has been declared the character’s birthday. So of course, there are celebrations afoot! A celebratory website challenges visitors to crack a code and solve a puzzle. The first 1,104 to do so will receive a puzzle book, and 50 entrants chosen by lottery will get an Oshiri Tantei prize pack.
