KANA-BOON Expresses The Trajectory of Life in BORUTO Anime New Opening Theme MV
The official YouTube channel for four-member Japanese rock band KANA-BOON has posted a full music video for their latest digital single song “Kirarirari,” which is now featured as the 11th opening theme for the TV anime BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS. The song was already released digitally on August 26.
The band has collaborated with the Naruto franchise since 2014 with the songs as listed below:
- 5th single “Silhouette” (November 2014 release / Naruto Shippuden 16th opening theme)
- 7th single “Diver” (August 2015 release / BORUTO -NARUTO THE MOVIE- theme song)
- 7th single’s coupling song “Spiral” (Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 theme song)
- 11th single “Baton Road” (July 2017 release / BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS 1st opening theme)
The song “Kirarirari” is connected to “Silhouette,” the 16th opening theme for Naruto Shippuden, and its music video expresses the accumulation of pages on a “white sheet of paper” as the trajectory of life, linking the lyrics to the relationships and connections that the band has built with listeners over the years.
