Mythological Comedy Donghua Fei Ren Zai Announces Japanese Dub Cast
Chinese donghua Fei Ren Zai, which follows a centuries-old fox spirit adapting to the modern world while working at a company staffed by other mythological creatures, will soon be descending onto Japanese television with its own dub. The star-studded cast was announced today ahead of a July 4 at 24:00 (effectively July 5 at midnight) premiere on TV Tokyo, as follows:
- Kyugetsu voiced by Maaya Uchida (Shinobu in Urusei Yatsura)
- Gouretsu voiced by Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki in Gintama)
- Kouten voiced by Yuto Takahashi
- Nata voiced by Reia Nakamura
- Kannon voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya (Levi in Attack on Titan)
- Youzen voiced by Shinichiro Miki (Lee in Lee’s Detective Agency)
- Juichigetsu voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto (Genya in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)
- Ryume voiced by Sumire Uesaka (Lum in Urusei Yatsura)
- Kougai voiced by Shota Aoi (Shouta Aoi in Pop Team Epic)
- Tama-chan voiced by Rie Takahashi (Megumin in Konosuba)
- Seiei voiced by Akari Kito (Kotoko in In/Spectre)
- Hakutaku voiced by Yuki Kaji (Todoroki in My Hero Academia)
- Keiten voiced by Seiji Maeda (Melt in Oshi no Ko)
- Dakki voiced by Suzuko Mimori (Rui in ODDTAXI)
A key visual for the Japanese version was unveiled in May, sporting the official localized title of Fei Ren Zai: Kami-sama no Nichijo.

Based on the ongoing webcomic by Yi Wang Kong Qi, Fei Ren Zai currently spans over a hundred five-minute episodes since its debut on Tencent Video in March 2018. The series is directed by Ming Zhong at studio FENZ, which co-produced the All Saints Street donghua that is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
