Crayon Shin-chan First 3DCG Film Releases New Trailer Featuring Theme Song by Sambomaster

 

The official website for the forthcoming film Shin Jigen! Crayon Shin-chan THE MOVIE Chounouryoku Daikessen ~Tobetobe Temaki Sushi~ released a new trailer featuring the theme song “Future is Yours” performed by three-member Japanese rock band Sambomaster.

 

In addition to the anime’s current regular voice cast members, Touri Matsuzaka (Takeru Shiba/Shinken Red in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger) is cast as the main villain character, Mitsru Hiriya, while Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) plays Negiko Fukaya, an employee of the Saitama branch of the International Esper Coordination Committee who instructs Shinnosuke on how to use his ESP.

 

Synopsis:

 

In the summer of 2023, as predicted by Nusuttoradamasu, who lives next door to Nostradamus, two emitting light from space approach to the earth. The white light hits Shinnosuke, giving birth to the esper Shinnosuke. Meanwhile, Mitsuru Hiriya was exposed to the black light and became a dark esper. He vows to take revenge on a world where everything is going wrong for him. The curtain rises on a great battle of supernatural powers between Hiriya, who desires the destruction of the world, and Shinnosuke.

The Crayon Shin-chan anime franchise’s first full 3DCG film took about seven years to produce. Hitoshi One (Moteki, Bakuman. live-action films) serves as director for his first anime feature film, and Shirogumi (Stand By Me Doraemon series) works on 3DCG animation. The film is set to release in Japan on August 4, 2023.
