Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2 Opening Theme Lyric Video by yama Released
Following the digital release on April 9, singer yama posted a lyric video for their brand new song “slash,” which is now featured as the opening theme for the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. The song was first available digitally via major subscription services on the new season’s premiere day in Japan, and its CD single is set to release on May 10.

I am very happy to be involved in such a wonderful series as “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.” I’ve watched the first season and am looking forward to the second season. I am very honored to have my music played in this very popular Gundam series. In this song, I tried to express the image of inspiring oneself while strongly reminding oneself of one’s own strength, against their weakness and introverted side. When the truth of the world and the thoughts of those around her are revealed, what does the protagonist value, keep her feet on the ground, and move forward? I put my thought that she will be able to make up her mind, even if she is still in doubt, into this song. I hope you enjoy the song “slash” as well as the opening movie.
