Love Live! Superstar!! Ren Hazuki VA Nagisa Aoyama Stars in Liyuu’s New Music Video “Yellow”

 

 

Following “OPEN UP!” last month, Chinese cosplayer/singer/voice actress Liyuu, best known as Keke Tang in Love Live! Superstar!, has posted a music video for “Yellow,” another new song from from her first mini album “koii” to be released in Japan tomorrow, February 22.

The theme of the five-song mini album is “Love,” and that of “Yellow” is “unrequited love for a childhood friend.” The drama-style music video stars Nagisa Aoyama, who has voiced Ren Hazuki in Love Live! Superstars! and is a member of the anime’s voice actress unit Liella!

She was born in Shanghai and because of her love for Japanese anime, she decided to start her activities in Japan. She made her professional anisong singer debut in January 2020. While performing as a member of Liella!, the VA unit for Love Live! Superstar!!, she has released three anime theme song as a solo singer – “Magic Words” (TV anime Hatena☆Illusion OP theme), “Carpe diem” (I’m Standing on a Million Lives ED theme), and “TRUE FOOL LOVE” (More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers OP theme).
