Initial D and MF Ghost Get Stunning Tribute Watch From Casio Edifice

 

Initial D and MF GHOST are the subject of a limited-edition tribute watch now available from Japanese watch brand Casio’s high-end Edifice sub-brand. The watch, with the model name ECB-2000MFG, features Bluetooth functionality for connecting to your smartphone for stopwatch data transfer, notifications and watch setting without having to use the buttons on the watch.

The watch also features a sapphire glass watch face and features Casio’s patented Tough Solar harvesting cell to keep the watch powered for up to seven months from a full charge without constant sunlight. Finally, the watch features a nylon and leather band with subtle references to the locations featured in Initial D and MF Ghost on the nylon band, while the leather side features an embossed treatment of the Fujiwara Tofu Shop script found on the side of the iconic AE86. The watch is available now direct from Casio in the US for $399.99.
