NieR:Automata Ver1.1a Anime Reveals 2024 Return, New Visual

If you’ve been missing the NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime, a second cour is on the way sometime this year. While we wait for a release date, the official accounts shared a new visual along with the 2024 news.

The continuation was previously announced after episodes 9-12 finally aired.

Ryouji Masuyama is directing the NieR: Automata Ver1.1a anime, which is being produced by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online) and is available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Synopsis:

The distant future, 5012.

The sudden aerial invasion of Earth by and their creations led mankind to the brink of extinction. The surviving number of humans who took refuge on the moon to organize a counterattack using soldiers to recapture Earth. However, the war reaches a stalemate as the continue to multiply infinitely.
