Hirayasumi Manga, Oddtaxi Musician Team Up for Music Video

What do you get when you combine the Keigo Shinzo manga Hirayasumi and the musical stylings of Skirt (Oddtaxi opening theme)? The following music video, which features Hirayasumi characters hanging out in the Tokyo neighborhood of Asagaya.

The song is called “Kimi ni Ai ni Ikou feat. Kazuki Inoue.” Inoue is best known as the vocalist of the band Laura day romance.

Shinzo’s manga Hirayasumi kicked off in 2021, and runs in the pages of Big Comic Spirits. Here’s how Viz Media describes it:

After developing an unlikely friendship with the grouchy old woman who lives in his neighborhood, Hiroto suddenly finds himself inheriting not just her house but some rather difficult emotions as well. His 18-year-old cousin, Natsumi, moves in with him, but as a struggling art student, she has her own troubles to deal with and may just put Hiroto’s easygoing lifestyle to the test.
