Yaoi Manga Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami Getting Sexy Anime

The yaoi manga Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami (a.k.a. Yatara Yarashii Fukami-kun in Japanese) by Ayaka Matsumoto is getting an anime adaptation! The toridori boys’ love brand from AnimeFesta (known in the past as Anime Zone and ComicFesta Anime) is behind the anime. A short teaser trailer has been released.

While the teaser trailer is out, there’s still a lot left to be learned. For example, information on the cast and a possible debut date have not yet been revealed.

The manga started out a couple years ago on the ComicFesta website, and ComicFesta and AnimeFesta are both owned by WWWave Corporation. AnimeFesta is interested in turning ComicFesta titles into anime, and has made adaptations for more than 25 manga series. Their debut anime title was On a Lustful Night Mingling with a Priest (a.k.a. Sōryo to Majiwaru Shikiyoku no Yoru ni… in Japanese). As one can guess from this title, as well as the title Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami, the company has an angle of creating adult stories for mature audiences. However, not all of them fall under that category. The adult ones do tend to receive more than one version to choose from: the “broadcast” version (which is on TV and censored) and the “premium” version (which you can get on the internet and is uncensored). There’s no word yet if this is one of those titles with two versions.

The manga is available to English-speaking readers through both Coolmic and Renta! Renta!, which rates the manga 18+, is publishing it digitally in sections and gave this description for the plot:

Kaji’s well-liked, but he sercretly rates everyone and looks down on them. On a business trip with Fukami, Kaji gives him a flat 0. However, after a bath, Fukami transforms into a completely different person! Thus begins the obstinate relationship of a playboy narcissist and a deceivingly frumpily dressed, hot bodied otaku!
