Gran Turismo Hollywood Live-Action Film In Active Production

During the weekend, the official social media accounts for the forthcoming Gran Turismo live-action film officially launched, with their first post featuring a behind-the-scenes photo of a director’s clapboard with the Gran Turismo logo printed on the board and a fleet of race cars in the background at an unamed race track. Filming has been confirmed to have begun at an undisclosed location in Hungary.

As previously announced, the film is directed by Neill Blomkamp from a screenplay written by co-executive producer Jason Hall and Zach Baylin. Additional cast for the film has also been confirmed in David Harbour, Archie Madekwe, Orlando Bloom, Darren Barnet, Djimon Hounsou, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Daniel Puig, Josha Stradowski, and Thomas Kretschmann. The film is slated to be released on August 11, 2023.
