Sword Art Online: Unleash Blading RPG to Shut Down in January

 

The latest mobile game to start the process of shutting its doors is Sword Art Online: Unleash Blading, the mobile RPG that originally launched in November 2019. Now, three years later, we’re getting word from Bandai Namco that service will come to an end on January 16, 2023.

Ahead of that, sales of the in-game currency known as Diamond Cubes have been disabled.

 

When Unleash Blading first launched in Japan it was known as Sword Art Online Alicization Blading, which was followed by a global version titled Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Steel before eventually being rebranded to the title it’s listed under today.

 

Sword Art Online fans will be able to download the game and give it a whirl on iOS and Android devices until the final day arrives.
