BLUELOCK match ranking

It was a hard-fought match between two top teams in BLUELOCK. In the end, all that separated the teams was a fortuitous bounce. Let’s break down the intense final match between Team Red and Team White in BLUELOCK’s first season.

Team Red’s Rin Itoshi: 10

The young starlet absolutely showed his skill on the pitch with a man-of-the-match display. A hat trick, including scoring the winning goal, in such a high-stakes match is exactly why he finished the first phase of the second selection as number 1.

Team Red’s Jyubei Aryu: 7

Another solidly glam performance. A towering-headed goal and great link-up play made him a valuable tool in attack and defense. Would have been rated higher but he still needs to improve his hair to be on Chigiri’s level.

Team Red’s Aoshi Tokimitsu: 6

His stamina helped him keep up with the pace of the game all the way to the end. While he didn’t score, he did form a good chemical reaction with Rin, leading to his team’s victory, though he needed to impose himself more to stand out.

Team Red’s Meguru Bachira: 8

Without his passes, his team would not have been dominant for such long portions of the match. He nearly capped off his performance with a wonderful solo goal but was cruelly denied by a retreating Isagi. To go through such a mental battle and still play well is very impressive.

Team White’s Yoichi Isagi: 9

An incredible backheel finish was nearly the icing on the cake in a wonderful display. His reading of the game nearly led him to catch up to Rin. All that separated them was an unfortunate bounce.

Team White’s Seishiro Nagi: 9

A human highlight reel, the genius delivered again with some exquisite finishes. With every match, he continues to defy the odds and the laws of gravity. Most will believe he had the best goal of the match.

Team White’s Shouei Barou: 6

Like Tokimitsu, he failed to impose himself on the game outside of his goal. His best defensive work was against Isagi, which did lead to a goal, but overall was not ideal for a team display.

Team White’s Hyoma Chigiri: 7

His intense pressing took the game to a new level. He consistently found himself in space on the wing and delivered some dangerous crosses, but would love to see him add some end product to his game.
