The Dangers in My Heart TV Anime Records Highest Global Sales for NUMAnimation

Earlier this month in TV Asahi’s end-of-fiscal year 2023 financial results, the company announced that The Dangers in My Heart TV anime has recorded the highest global sales for an anime program in the NUMAnimation programming block. This milestone comes from advanced sales of the series to international distribution partners, such as Sentai Filmworks in North America and ANIPLUS in Asia.

 

In the slide announcing the news, TV Asahi says “Late night anime series The Dangers in My Heart in NUMAnimation slot for April 2023 programming season produced by TV Asahi and SHIN-EI ANIMATION recorded highest global sales figure for the slot.”

The NUMAnimation programming block started on TV Asahi in April 2020 with SING “YESTERDAY” FOR ME. Since then, the block has broadcast hist such as World Trigger, A Couple of Cuckoos and BLUELOCK. The block runs from 1:30 AM to 2 AM on Sunday mornings on TV Asahi and its affiliated stations across Japan.

 

The Dangers in My Heart anime is directed by Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-san) at studio Shin-Ei Animation, with series composition by Jukki Hanada (Bloom Into You), character designs by Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets 2) and music by Kensuke Ushio (Liz and the Blue BirdA Silent Voice). It began on April 2, 2023, and is streaming on HIDIVE.
