Bungo Stray Dogs Season Four TV Anime Looks Upon a Full Moon in New Visual

The fourth season of the literary TV anime series Bungo Stray Dogs has hit the streets running sleuthing out clues about the Untold Origins of the Detective Agency in the latest arc. To celebrate the continuing story, a brand new visual was released today with the updated color scheme of the latest episode.

The new visual represents the feelings that Rampo and Fukuzawa have towards each other now they have gotten to know each other and have elevated their detective game. The visual was once again drawn by character designer and chief animation director Nobuhiro Arai.

Based on the manga written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa, Bungo Stray Dogs aired its first three seasons between 2016-2019, as well as released the Bungo Stray Dogs – DEAD APPLE anime film in 2018. A spin-off series titled Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! aired in 2021. Yen Press releases both the manga and light novel adaptation in English. Crunchyroll is streaming the fourth season as it airs, describing the franchise as such:

 

Kicked out of his orphanage and on the verge of starving to death, Nakajima Atsushi meets some strange men. One of them, Dazai Osamu, is a suicidal man attempting to drown himself in broad daylight. The other, bespectacled Kunikida Doppo, nervously stands by flipping through a notepad. Both are members of the “Armed Detective Agency” said to solve incidents that even the military and police won’t touch. Atsushi ends up accompanying them on a mission to eliminate a man-eating tiger that’s been terrorizing the population…
