Boruto Manga Takes a Short Break Until August

 BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS

 

Following the announcement in March that the BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS anime ended its
“Part 1,” the Boruto manga will also be taking a short break. The series revealed on April 20 the next chapter of Boruto will be published in V Jump’s October issue, which releases in August. However, on VIZ Media’s Shonen Jump app, the final page of Chapter 80 currently states the manga will return in September.

The BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS TV anime began in March 2017, and was proceeded by Boruto: Naruto the Movie in August 2015. The manga, originally written by Ukyo Kodachi with Masashi Kishimoto taking over in 2020 and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016, then moved over to V Jump in July 2019.
