BOCCHI THE ROCK! Hitori VA Yoshino Aoyama Releases Her 1st Major Album on March 8

Japanese record company Teichiku Entertainment has announced that the first major album of voice actress Yoshino Aoyama, best known as Hitori Goto in BOCCHI THE ROCK!, is set to be released from its J-Pop label Imperial Records on March 8, 2023.

Yoshino passed the “avex×81produce Wake Up, Girls! AUDITION” 2nd anison vocal audition held in 2012. In the following year, the seven-member voice actress idol unit Wake Up, Girls! was formed. While performing as a member of the unit, Aoyama made her voice acting debut as Yoshino Nanase in the Wake Up, Girls! anime series in 2014. The unit ended its six-year activity in March 2019, then she made her solo singer debut with her first digital single “Page” in March 2022, and has released three digital singles since then.

The title of her first album, “la valigia” means “journey,” “preparation for a journey,” or “suitcase” in Italian, and Aoyama’s own footsteps on her “journey” will be told thorough this album. Together with the previously released three songs, the album contains a total of ten songs. At the strong request by Aoyama herself, the lead track “Toumei Ningen” (Invisible Man) is written/composed by singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi, who recently provided “Akuma no Ko,” the ending theme for Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2.
