Dejiko, was originally born as the mascot character for Broccoli’s retail chain store, Gamers, in 1998. Its popularity has led to a wide range of mixed media projects, such as manga, drama CDs, game, and TV anime. She recently made her virtual YouTube debut in January 2022, and the latest TV anime series Reiwa no Digi Charat was aired for 16 episodes from October 2022 to January 2023 as the franchise’s 24th anniversary project.

The franchise’s official Twitter writes, “With everyone’s support, ‘Di Gi Charat’ will last forever. Thanks 25th Anniversary!”

The memorial illustration was also displayed on the final day of “Di Gi Charat 24th Anniversary Koge-Donbo Art Exhibition in Kyoto” held at be-kyoto from January 28 to February 8.
