Anime x Musical Mixed-Media Project FLAGLIA Announces Cast Lineup
Following the announcement that South Korean band THE BOYZ is tasked with the main theme song, anime/musical mixed-media project FLAGLIA today announced the anime’s central cast lineup, putting Hiromi Igarashi (Orion in AMNESIA) at center-stage as protagonist Iko.
Joining musical performers Yoshikuni Dochin and Yoonhak, the newly added voice actors are as follows (roles yet to be revealed):

- Junya Enoki (Itadori in JUJUTSU KAISEN)
- Takeo Ootsuka (Leon in Trapped in a Dating Sim)
- Seiichirou Yamashita (Cid in The Eminence in Shadow)
- Youhei Azakami (Guel in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury)
- Shunichi Toki (Kazutora in Tokyo Revengers)
- Yoshitaka Yamaya (Lead in Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun)
- Eiji Takeuchi (Ken in Classroom of the Elite)
- Takugo Iwakawa

Additional story details were also unveiled, unwinding a historical fantasy narrative about a third-grader, Iko, who lives with his four older brothers in Tateyama when one summer vacation, he and his family get caught up in a secret world of magic-users…
A broadcast schedule for the anime, which will air on Tokyo MX in a 25:35-26:05 slot, was previously unveiled:
- Episode 1-2: January 16, 2023
- Episode 3-4: January 23, 2023
- Episode 5-6: January 30, 2023

Based on an original story by Madoka Takadono (Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist) and character drafts by Zihuatanejo (After Work manga), the anime is being directed by Itsuro Kawasaki (The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting) at Studio Gaina alongside Erika Ito (LOVE and LIES) as animation character designer.
The musical, titled “FLAGLIA THE MUSICAL ~Yukitekareishi Monogatari~” and directed by Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi, will run from February 3 to February 9 next year at Tokyo’s Nippon Seinen-kan Hall, starring Yoshikuni Dochin, Yoonhak, Toshiki Seto, Waku Sakaguchi, Shotaro Okubo, Tatsuya Tomoishi, Kenji Sakamoto and nine members of Japanese-South Korean boy band NIK.
