Itaru Bonnoki’s The Vampire Dies in No Time manga is about to go on another brief break. According to the latest issue of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine, the series will go on hiatus for roughly one month as a result of the author’s health concerns.

The Vampire Dies in No Time first launched in the pages of Champion in June 2015, and the 23rd collected volume will hit stores in Japan on December 8. Following a month-long hiatus in April, Bonnoki’s sudden illness also lead to a week-long hiatus in September.

As for the anime adaptation, a second season is set to kick off in January 2023.

Funimation streamed the first season of the anime, which is directed by Hiroshi Koujina (Hunter x Hunter) at anime studio MADHOUSE. Here’s the official description:

Legendary vampire hunter Ronaldo finds an unlikely (and unwilling) ally in Draluc, the world’s weakest vampire who turns to dust at the slightest attack. Together they’re in for more hilarious misadventures than you can shake a stake at, including enemy vampires, axe-wielding editors, and other pains in the neck.
