Animation Studio TROYCA Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Special Movie
Since its establishment in May 2013, Tokyo-based animation studio TROYCA has produced high-quality, critically-acclaimed anime works such as ALDNOAH.ZERO, Bloom Into You and IDOLiSH7. To celebrate TROYCA’s 10th anniversary, the studio has released a special movie introducing its representative works from 2014 to 2023.
The anime works introduced in the movie are:
- ALDONOAH.ZERO (2014-2015)
- Beautiful Bones: Sakurako’s Investigation (2015)
- Re:CREATORS (2017)
- IDOLiSH7 (2018-)
- Bloom Into You (2018)
- Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files {Rail Zeppelin} Grace note (2019)
- Shinobi no Ittoki (2022)
- Overtake! (2023)
The company’s official Twitter account also posted a special collaboration illustration drawn by character designer Masako Matsumoto, featuring Inaho Kaizuka from ALDONOAH.ZERO and Haruka Asahina from Overtake!

TROYCA was established by a group of former AIC Classic staff members led by producer Toshiyuki Nagano, photography director Tomonobu Kato, and director Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero series). The company name comes from the Russian word тройка, meaning “trio,” since these three men are the core of the company.
The company’s official Twitter writes: “Today, May 23, 2023, marks the 10th anniversary of TROYCA. Thanks to all of our fans and everyone involved in our production, we have come this far. We would appreciate your continued support for the next 10 years.”
