Akiba Maid War Stage Play Gets Director and Performance Schedule
The official website for the forthcoming stage play adaptation of Cygames and P.A.WORKS’ original TV anime Akiba Maid War announced today that it is set to perform at the Hakuhinkan Theater in Tokyo from September 6 to 10, 2023. The fastest entry coupon for the 12,800-yen/9,800-yen ticket will be enclosed in the anime’s Blu-ray third volume to be released on March 3, and its application period will open from the release day to March 31.

Also, it was confirmed that Keita Kawajiri, best known for his works for the Mob Psycho 100 stage play series, serves as writer/director.

The TV anime was aired for 12 episodes from October 7 to December 23, 2022 and was also simulcast on HIDIVE.
Synopsis:
In the spring of 1999, bright-eyed Nagomi Wahira moves to Akihabara with dreams of joining a maid café. She quickly dons an apron at café Ton Tokoton, AKA the Oinky Doink Café, but adjusting to life in the big city isn’t easy. Paired with the dour Ranko who never smiles, Nagomi must do her best to elevate the Oinky Doink Café over all other maid cafés vying for top ranking, but she soon discovers not everything is as it seems amid the frills and thrills of the maid cafés of Akihabara…
