Studio Ghibli Takes to the Skies and Seas in Second Round of Model Cars of Their Famous Machines

After the successful launch of the first round of “Dream Tomica Ghibli ga Ippai” die-cast toys from Tomica that saw the recreation of My Neighbor Totoro‘s Catbus and Spirited Away‘s Unabara Electric Railway train, the two giants revealed that the second part of the collaboration will take to the skies and seas.

 

The second installment of the “Dream Tomica Ghibli ga Ippai” series includes “vehicles” from Laputa: Castle in the Sky and Ponyo:

As with the first round of the models, they’ll will be released in toy stores, Studio Ghibli’s Donguri Republic stores and Tomica Shops across Japan starting from the end of March with preorders starting on January 31. Each will sell for 1,320 yen (US$10.15).
