Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai Novels Inspire Anime Adaptation
If the “zombie-panic action” sub-genre sounds like your cup of tea, you might be the ideal audience for the Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai (I am the only one who is not attacked in the world filled with zombies) novel series. While details are light, the latest news on the novels is that they’re being adapted into a TV anime, with broadcast plans penciled in for AT-X in Japan.
As for when that broadcast will begin, we’ll have to wait to find out more details, including the cast and staff making it happen.
Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai follows former salaryman Yuusuke Takemura, a selfish man who survives a zombie bite only to soon discover he’s the only person in the global apocalypse that the zombies won’t attack.
The original novels are written by Rokuro Uraji and feature illustrations by Saburou. Frontier Works publishes them in Japan under its Nox Novels imprint, and there’s also a manga adaptation by Chihiro Masuda.
