Another piece of the puzzle has been revealed for the Undead Murder Farce anime, which has been announcing new cast members at a steady clip. The latest is Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba), who will voice Phantom in the adaptation of Yugo Aosaki’s novel series. And yes, it’s that Phantom; the Phantom of the Opera!

Mamoru Hatakeyama (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?) directs Undead Murder Farce at Lapintrack with scripts written by Noboru Takagi (Durarara!!), character designs drawn by Noriko Ito (Yuri!!! on ICE) and Naho Kozono (Golden Kamuy) and music from Yuma Yamaguchi (Project X Zone 2). The series premieres this July and is described as such:

 

The 19th century — a world inhabited by vampires, golems, werewolves and other paranormal creatures. Immortal beauty and disembodied head Aya Rindo, along with half-human-half-demon “Demon Killer” Tsugaru Shunichi and her loyal maid Shizuku Hasei, travels through Europe as supernatural detective “The Cage User,” solving supernatural mysteries while she searches for her lost body.
