Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown Arc Theme Song Tops Winter 2023 Anime Karaoke Ranking

Japanese karaoke company Daiichikosho conducted a karaoke ranking survey of theme songs for the TV anime series that started airing in January 2023 on its karaoke on-demand service, DAM (Daiichikosho Amusement Multimedia).

The most popular song during the survey period from January 1 to March 31 was “White Noise,” the opening theme for Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown performed by Official HIGE DANdism. Following the TV anime first season’s opening theme “Cry Baby,” the band released the song digitally on January 11, 2023, as their ninth digital single. Then the song reached No.1 on Oricon’s weekly digital single charts. The anime’s ending theme song “Kizutsukedo, Aishiteru” sung by TUYU also ranked eighth.

Coming in second was “I Wanna Muchu,” the opening theme for the second cour of the Urusei Yatsura reboot TV anime, composed by vocaloid producer Threee and sung by singer asmi. The anime’s ending theme song “Aitarinai” written/composed by vocaloid producer Nito. and sung by singer yama also ranked ninth.
