The anime adaptation of the series was originally announced in August 2021.
The original web novel written by Kurokata began on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in March 2014, with the print editions featuring illustrations by KeG published by MF Books from March 2016 to March 2020 with a total of 12 volumes. A manga adaptation illustrated by Reki Kugayama began in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comp Magazine in April 2017 with 12 volumes released as of March 2023. One Peace Books releases the English adaptation of the light novel and manga, and describes the series:
