With a little less than two months to go until The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom drops on the Nintendo Switch on May 12, the general producer of the franchise, Eiji Aonuma delivered over 10 minutes of new information about the Breath of the Wild sequel, including new abilities, new monsters and a new Nintendo Switch model!

 

 

The trailer revealed a new enemy on the Sky Islands, the Construct, and four new abilities that Link will have to traverse Hyrule with; Recall, which allows players to rewind time for an object, Fuse, which brings more than one weapon or object together to make them more powerful and up its durability, Ultrahand, another form of Fuse that not only puts objects together but can craft them into makeshift things, and finally Ascend, which lets Link swim through ceilings of any height, making climbing easier.

Alongside the gameplay, a The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom new Nintendo Switch OLED model was revealed alongside a case and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. The new Switch will release on April 28 while the controller and case release on May 12.
