The Fruit of Evolution 2 TV Anime Sets January 13 Premiere with New Trailer
By the look of his face, Seiichi is starting to get serious about continuing his monkey business in The Fruit of Evolution 2: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made, and so is the anime itself today after revealing a new trailer, a menagerie of additional cast members, theme song details and a January 13 at 24:23 JST premiere in Japan.
Nano (BTOOOM! OP) will perform “Evolution” for the opening theme song and Erii Yamazaki (Date A Live III ED) will perform “Adore Me” for the ending theme song, both of which can be briefly heard in the trailer below:

- Demiorus voiced by Chiharu Sawashiro (Taiga in Tribe Nine)
- Anglea voiced by Ami Koshimizu (Mizuki in Lycoris Recoil)
- Beatrice voiced by Lynn (Miorine in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury)
- Agnos voiced by Minoru Shiraishi (Sakamoto in Nichijou – My Ordinary Life)
- Brood voiced by Toshinari Fukamachi (Hajime in Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest)
- Helen voiced by Rui Tanabe (Nanana in Nanana’s Buried Treasure)
- Theobolt voiced by Shoya Ishige (Gojo in My Dress-Up Darling)

Based on the light novels by Miku and U35, The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made Season 1 director Yoshiaki Okumura will now act as Chief Director, with Fukase Shigeru acting as Director. Mitsuki Iroha and Hayashi Nobuhide will be in charge of character designs, Ichikawa Gigaemon returning to handle series composition and script, and HOTLINE taking sole animation production credits (as feel. and Children’s Playground Entertainment were credited for Season 1).
The first season of The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made is currently available on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as such:
High school student Hiiragi Seiichi is bullied by his classmates for being a “loser.” One day, his entire school is suddenly transported to a video game-like world of swords and sorcery, and when he accidentally eats “the Fruit of Evolution,” his life as a successful “winner” begins. All is going smoothly until he gets invited to become an instructor at a magic academy. Will Seiichi be able to continue as a “winner”?
