That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Stage Play Unveils Main Cast Members in Costume

 

 

The official website for the forthcoming stage play adaptation of Fuse’s isekai fantasy light novel series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime posted a key visual introducing its main cast members today, including idol group ≠ME‘s 19-yesr-old member Hana Ogi as the protagonist, Rimuru Tempest, in his human form.

 

His slime form will be represented on stage in a variety of ways, one of which will be performed by the street performer Fusen Taro, who will give a performance using balloons. It is also confirmed that Megumi Toyoguchi, who has voiced Great Sage in the anime series, will provide her voice as the character for the play.

As part of the franchise’s 10th anniversary project, the stage play written/directed by Naohiro Ise (Mr.Osomatsu, Tokyo Revengers stage plays) is set to be performed at Mielparque Hall in Osaka from August 3 to 5, 2023, then at Nihon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo from August 11 to 14. After the advance sales from May 5 to June 18, general sales of the tickets will begin on July 1.
