Teppen—!!! Manga Comes to an End Along with Spinoff
Monday marked the launch of the final issue of Bushiroad’s Monthly Bushiroad magazine, and with it came the end of a pair of comedy manga. Inuju and Namamugi’s Teppen—!!! manga published its final chapter alongside Misaki Mori’s Yonkoma Teppen—!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! spinoff manga, which also ended its run.
The Teppen—!!! manga first launched in the magazine in January 2021, taking inspiration from voice actress unit Seiyu San-Shimai Team Y, which is comprised of Mikoi Sasaki, Aimi and Aya Saito. A TV anime adaptation—available on Crunchyroll as Teppen—!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laughing ’til you Cry—premiered in July 2022.
Yonkoma Teppen—!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! launched at the same time as the anime, in July 2022.
